The new Kimber Rapide Dawn only need slight wipe down of barrel components, some oiling and a good snaking. Wow what a 1911 the Dawn is.

Very interesting video. I clicked on the link above & the website is now missing. I watched another video with someone using a guitar pick to depress the plunger. My Springfield Armory 1911 A1 has a very stiff spring holding the plunger in place and I have issues every time I reassemble my pistol after cleaning. I will investigate acquiring some guitar picks. Thank you everyone for your suggestions and feedback.

I use to have a 27 but it kept giving me slide bite so I upgraded to a 17 😅 no more slide bite

Your information on this firearm is the same as any Glock 26. Not making sense

This is only half the problem on my new Colt. You also have to hold the little detent in while pushing the slide stop past it into the hole. You can push with all your might and never get past the detent without holding it in

Gen 2 glock 27. No such thing as a Gen 1 27. Only gen 1 pistols are the 17 and 19.

It also came in 9mm. Nice shooter.

A little bit of patients and the slide stop should go right in if you aligned the slide correctly.
